Aardvark Pumping is a full service septic system maintenance company that provides reliable, economical and knowledgeable septic system services.  The specific services we provide include septic tank pumping, sewer line cleaning, information and consultation on septic systems, care and maintenance of such systems.  Our sister company Aardvark Excavating, Inc. provides complete repair and installation of septic systems, general contractor services involving ground excavation, construction and landscaping.  Aardvark companies market serves primarily the residents of the Kenai Peninsula Borough.  The Kenai Peninsula Borough is comprised of primarily rural residential homes, though services are also provided to municipal residents, commercial, industrial, and governmental agencies.

Septic System Maintenance

A thorough knowledge of how a septic system functions in the basis of any service we provide.  This knowledge coupled with the experience gained over the years and mandates that we not only provide emergency septic pumping for systems that are failing or have failed, but that we also provide routine pumping to remove the accumulated solids that cause septic systems to fail.  One of our goals is to educate our customers on how to maintain their systems in order to get the maximum life from their system.  Other services we provide include vacuum cleaning of the sewer lines during the pumping process to remove any accumulated solids left in the lines due to overfull conditions.  The addition of septic bacteria ensures the system reestablishes to normal function.  Education of the customer plays an important part of a healthy functional system, this is accomplished by informing customers of products that may be harmful to the septic system.  Services are also provided for lift station repair, replacement, and routine maintenance.

Excavation and Septic System Maintenance

Once again, a thorough knowledge of how a septic system functions is the basis of any service we provide.  Aardvark Pumping now refers construction activities to Aardvark Excavating, Inc. or to other reputable companies as a service to our customers.  In the construction of septic systems, it is our belief that a system should not only meet the minimum state certification requirements but one that will exceed those requirements and give customers many years of service.  Our sister company Aardvark Excavating, Inc. installs new and repairs existing septic systems from the most basic to advanced engineered systems for commercial applications such a schools and businesses.  They conduct sewer line repair for the private stand-alone systems and industrial customers; lift station installation and repair of any type; landscaping as part of a sewer system or a stand-alone project; driveway and road construction as well as excavation for buildings and homes is also provided.

Aardvark companies are known to provide a product of good value and to stand behind that product.  Because we have been in business for 26 year's in the same area, we have an extensive customer base.  As a result we have a vast resource of information on existing systems and a knowledge base of the soil types and locations that assist us in designing and quoting systems for the customer.

Pricing and Value

Aardvark Pumping adopted a no-hassle pricing structure for septic pumping many years ago.  The pricing structure is based on zones and covers the majority of our residential customer needs.  Price differences are primarily based on travel distance to the job site.  Commercial or residential customers that fall outside the normal service criteria are usually charged based on additional gallons pumped or time and materials.  We at Aardvark Pumping strive to keep prices stable over the years with minimal cost increases.  Aardvark Pumping provides what we believe is a better service than other pumping services.  All of our employees are educated in the function of septic systems and what causes systems to fail.  Failure of septic systems costs thousands of dollars to the customer in replacement or repair.  Our employees make the extra effort to not only get rid of the water in a client's system, but to remove the solids that cause the systems to fail.  They then share key information about the condition, health, and routine maintenance of customer septic systems.  Files and documentation is retained as part of the Aardvark information system for future reference.  These files have proved invaluable to individual customers, banks, lending institutions, future owners and realtors.

Products

Aardvark Pumping offers two types of service to our customers.  An on demand service provides for customers that have unexpected failures or problems with their septic systems.  These failures can be caused by lack of maintenance, normal use failure, or natural events due to high water tables, rainstorm, snow melt, and flood events.  The other service offered is a routine maintenance pumping to preserve and protect the operation of a healthy septic system.  For those who do not wish to track the maintenance on their systems, we offer an automatic notification and scheduling of a bi-annual septic pumping.  Also offered is vacuum line cleaning services and commercial pumping services.
